Our vision
Our t-shirts and accessories company is woke, with eyes wide open to injustice and discrimination everywhere. We design t-shirts that are billboards for activist ideals and part of activists’ identities. Our mission is to promote diversity and empower activism through the lens of intersectionality — because struggles are not isolated; they intersect. Diversity, intersections, and combinations are at the core of our design concepts, along with interactivity and customization. We incorporate data visualization and simple tests to create unique, personalized designs for each individual.
Our company’s name reclaims the term woke for progressive people and their causes. Being woke means more than just being awake — it means being aware of injustices and discrimination, and taking action against them. While the term originated in the Black Lives Matter movement and has since broadened in scope, it has also been misused by right-wing groups to mock and undermine us. But you know what? We’re proud to be woke.

We are proud to be woke every time and wear!

Who
is
behind
Woke?
My name is Beatriz Provasi, and I’m a Brazilian UX designer, artist, and activist currently studying in Denmark. I developed this webshop as a project for my Multimedia Design course at Zealand Erhvervsakademi. But this isn’t just another school project — I’m truly proud to be woke! I’m proud to be a feminist, anti-racist, anti-fascist, anarchist, LGBTQIA+, and Indigenous rights activist who also cares deeply about environmentalism, disability rights, and other causes. I’m also proud to share — and wear — the results of my own test:

To be woke means: We don’t close our eyes to injustice and discrimination. “Stay woke!”

Woke? Yeah. Because apathy is out of fashion.
